The Sunday brunch at Twenty Seven Bites Brasserie at Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok has been crafted to not only win the hearts of buffet lovers and foodies but to, indeed, seize the throne of Bangkok’s Sunday brunch scene. Being struck by multifarious food selections, I was so surprised and excited that I really didn’t know which food station I should start with. My eyes looked at the oysters while my mind had already wandered to linger around the abalone at the Chinese counter. This Sunday brunch is also meant for family and group gathering. It caters the need of children (game stations with food coutners); the need of seafood lovers; fans of cheese and red meat; and also Chinese cuisine lovers. If you are wondering where to enjoy Sunday brunch in Bangkok, especially with a big group of people, this Sunday brunch at Twenty Seven Bites at Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok should be on your top 3 list.

What you must try in this Sunday brunch?
1) Chinese station
It’s really quite difficult to find another Sunday brunch that features so many Chinese delicacies. As a Chinese from Hong Kong, ‘authentic’ is the word I will use to describe both the taste and ways of cooking in all Chinese dishes presented in this brunch. Abalone in red gravy sauce, Cantonese barbequed duck and suckling pig are what you will not want to miss!
2) Seafood station
Won’t you feel happy to see fresh oysters being shucked throughout the brunch? The oysters were slurpilicious! I just couldn’t stop! Alaska crabs were amazingly flavorsome. If you eat it eye-folded, I’m pretty sure you can still tell that what you are eating is Alaska crabs. If you don’t like seafood on ice, there are grilled rock lobsters, prawns and many more seafood choices at the live cooking station.
3) Indian station
This station caught my heart, though it was not located at an eye-catching corner! What you should try is the Butter Chicken, which was tender and full of aroma and herbal flavours.
4) Dessert station
The most eye-catching station is the dessert station, which features countless of mouthwatering sweets. Although personally, I am not fond of sweet, I wasn’t able to resist its charm! I especially like the homemade ice-cream, artisan chocolate as well as the French crepe. Of course, never miss their chocolate fountain – a fountain of real chocolate, not mixture of chocolate powder, as well as their macarons!
5) Live cooking station
Besides all the grilled seafood, I like their foie gras which is served in big portion.
6) Cheese station
Although there is no cheese room, their cheese selection was, in fact, very satisfactory! As a cheese lover, I found this station another tempting reason for me to return to this brunch.
This Sunday brunch has struck me with surprise, and I will return to crave for more! This is also the reason why we have selected this Sunday brunch as one of the must-try brunches in our latest eGuide on The Best Brunch Experience in Bangkok.
