Why is it called the ‘Chocolate Buffet’?
The Chocolate Buffet at Lobby Salonis the only place in Bangkok that serves made-to-order liquid hot chocolates from the imported raw chocolates carefully selected by their experienced Executive Pastry Chef Laurent Ganguillet. These raw chocolates are from different regions of the world, carrying a great difference in terms of aroma, taste and cocoa intensity. Selected raw chocolates will be gently melted over a low flame, a hot chocolate drink will be served with choices of whipped cream, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and/or cracked pepper on top.

The ambience of the chocolate buffet?
Lobby Salon is located on the ground floor of the hotel. Its elegant decor provides a perfect venue for a relaxing afternoon. What I especially like about the Chocolate Buffet at Lobby Salon is the sound of hammered dulcimer, which is being played by a lady in a traditional Thai costume throughout the buffet. The comforting sound of the hammered dulcimer quiets my soul and literally leads me into a comfortable afternoon. What is more chillaxing than sipping your favourite tea with delectable small bites of savouries and sweets?
