Seafood Republic Dinner Buffet, Novotel Ploenchit

The word ‘buffet’ seems very magical to many people. The melody of this word creates happiness and arouses appetite. To some people, like myself, it even helps cure depression and work pressure. Exaggerating? Well, at least when you are feasting, you temporarily forget about your demanding boss, your lazy colleagues and many other bad experiences. Presentation of the food also helps a lot. It is a kind of visual joy that acts like an analeptic, restoring not only your appetite, but also your mood.

I guess these are the reasons why The SQUARE of Novotel Ploenchit has designed the “Seafood Republic” dinner buffet, which is available every Friday to Sunday!

The selling point of this dinner buffet, as its name suggested, was seafood! If you are a prawn lover, you may find this buffet a soulmate match for you! Normally, blue crabs are also available for diners, but they were not available on our day of visit. Just imagine enjoying a feast of grilled blue crabs and prawns on a Friday night after long hours of work has already sparked my desire to return to this buffet once more!

Besides fresh grilling of prawns, it was also pleasurable to see chilled seafood displayed right in the middle of the dining hall! Alaska crabs, clams, fresh mussels, and river prawns were all there! If you were in the dinner buffet, you would be amazed how fast people grabbed the seafood, and how even faster the servers refilled the supply!

 

Oysters were also available! If you prefer to having your oysters grilled, bring them to the grill station, a chef will do it for you. In fact, the oysters tasted better after grilling!

Never let your craving for seafood stop here, here you go, a sushi & sashimi counter!

What if I tell you that you can also have unlimited pan-seared foie gras? Yeah! You now know why I would love to return to the SQUARE one more time!

Oh! Don’t miss their roasted steak! Medium rare! Choices for hot dishes as well as appetizers were plenty enough to impress you!

If you want to enjoy your seafood feast with wine and beer, spending an extra THB 500 net will do the magic for you!

This dinner buffet is best for family or friends’ gathering! I am sure you will enjoy a beautiful night full of food and laughter! It is definitely a good deal for buffet, I am sure it will not burn a hole in your wallet! We recommend the ‘Seafood Republic’ dinner buffet to you all!
