Shibuya Shabu, Thonglor Soi 20: 690 Baht net/person

If you live or work in Rama 9 area, you would have heard of Shibuya Shabu, at which there is always long queue waiting for a table. As their business is getting better, Shibuya Shabu has just opened a new branch in the competitive gourmet area – Thonglor.

The new branch is located on the ground floor of SPC building in Thonglor Soi 20. As it is still a new restaurant in that area, no queuing for a table is needed. For those who like to enjoy the shabu buffet in a quiet environment, this branch is your choice, though it may be just temporarily less busy.

Their shabu is offered at 690 baht net per head. What you can eat unlimitedly is not only their shabu with good quality of beef and pork slices, but you can also enjoy various kinds of quality sushi, tempura, and unlimited supply of non-alcoholic drinks and desserts. What amazed us is the choice of sushi.  Despite tuna and salmon, you can order scallops, shrimp, and beef, which are not commonly found in other shabu buffet.

Vegetables is provided fresh at their self-service counter, along with Japanese-styled salad.

Desserts are provided in the fridge to keep the best taste! Don’t forget the chocolate mousse, it can end your meal perfectly with satisfaction.

A self-service drinks counter allows you to get tea, coffee and soft drinks.

To us, it is a very good deal, especially for friends’ gatherings!
