Sunday brunch at Medinii at The Continent

Medinii at The Continent Hotel has recently been selected as one of the continent winners of 2016 World Luxury Restaurant Awards. This is the main reason why I visited Medinii for the Sunday brunch. On the day of my visit, Medinii was full with diners who came for the authentic Italian cuisine served at the restaurant. The Sunday brunch at Medinii is not expensive at all. At only THB 599++/person, diners can enjoy quality hot dishes, desserts, salad, cheese and cold cuts as well as made-to-order pasta and pizzas.

(1) Fantastic city view
Located on the 35th floor of The Continent Hotel, diners surely find themselves overwhelmed by the breathtaking city view.

(2) A wide selection of pasta and pizzas
There are altogether 19 kinds of pasta (with choices of angel’s hair, spaghetti, penne and black ink spaghetti) and 17 kinds of pizzas for diners to choose. All these dishes are made to order, guaranteeing its taste and freshness. Thai element is also found in the menu, creating a unique choice for Thai-Italian fusion dishes. On the day of our visit, we tried green chicken curry pizza and spaghetti in Thai spicy sauce. Bold creation to blend Thai cuisine and Italian cuisine for Asian tastebuds.

(3) Other dishes also meet expectation
Besides pasta and pizzas, there are quite a lot of choices for hot dishes and desserts. Cheese, salad and cold cuts are also available for diners! Personally, I like their parma ham and melon, freshly baked bread and the chocolate fountain!

(4) Attentive service
Service at Medinii is what impressed me most. It also explains why Medinii has been nominated and selected as the winner for the World Luxury Restaurant Awards in 2016. The moment I picked up the menu, a server would come beside me to take my order!

(5) Unbeatable price
With such good standard of service and quality of food, I am rather surprised at the price for this Sunday brunch! It’s a price targeted to win foodies’ hearts. THB 599++ per person, including tea or coffee. Half price for children aged 6 -12 and free for those under 6 years old. What’s more is their flexible choice for beverages. If you would like to enjoy free flow of wine and prosecco, all you need to pay is an additional THB 499++ per person. You can also order one glass of wine or beer. Currently, there is a buy-one-get-one-free promotion with different choices of alcoholic beverages.
