2-Michelin-Starred Chef-Valentino Marcattilii of San Domenico

2-Michelin-Starred Chef Valentino Marcattilii is invited as the guest chef to preside over Wine Pub‘s kitchen and bring to foodies and gourmets in town an exclusive fine-dining night of classical Italian cuisine at Pullman Bangkok King Power from 22 to 25 February 2017. Gourmet Bangkok has grabbed this precious chance to interview Chef Valentino Marcattilii to find out more about him and his incredible Italian cuisine.

Chef Marcattilii began his professional career in Imola, Italy, under the direction of one of the greatest Italian chefs, Nino Bergese, at Ristorante San Domenico. Prior to establishing his own restaurant in Italy, Chef Marcattilii apprenticed at some distinguished Michelin-starred restaurants in France and the United States, including Auberge de I’lle, Troisgros, Madame Point and Vergé. His profound culinary expertise and diverse culinary techniques have allowed him a consultant for many renowned restaurants such as Ristorante Donatello in San Francisco, Restaurant La Main à la Pâte in Paris and Palm Bay Hotel in Miami.

Now the co-owner and executive chef of the two-Michelin-Starred San Domenico, Chef Marcattilii is dedicated to preserving traditions in classical Italian cuisine while putting his innovative twists on the traditional Italian dishes. He insists on using the freshest ingredients available with great respect for simple preparation.
