A New Chef Presents the Taste of Phuket at U Zenmaya

U Zenmaya Phuket is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Christophe Pierre as the boutique resort’s new Executive Chef and invites all avid diners to try his irresistible new “Amazing Taste of Phuket BBQ” on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Swiss-born Chef Christophe was raised in the Seychelles by his grandmother where he developed a love for her homemade Creole cuisine. Deciding on a career in the food arts his culinary journey to taste the flavours of the world has taken him to places as far afield as England, Italy and Mauritius, before finally joining U Zenmaya on the beautiful island of Phuket.

Chef Christophe’s eclectic experience will certainly be a boon to the kitchen of U Zenmaya, adding a delightfully delicious element to the fine fare offered by the property.

On Wednesdays and Thursdays Chef Christophe will introduce himself to you with his selection of the freshest seafood and mouth-watering local meat specialties at our Amazing Taste of Phuket BBQ evenings. Savour Phuket’s catch-of-the-day delights including prawns, scallops, bay lobsters, sea bass, squid and crabs and experience tantalizing tastes influenced by Phuket and southern regions of Thailand plus a choice of authentic Thai desserts.
