Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok has appointed Jakob Yamac as Director of Food and Beverage. Jakob joins the hotel from the UAE where he was Director of Food and Beverage at the Address Boulevard Hotel in Dubai.
He began his career as a bartender at the iconic Burj Al Arab Hotel and was later appointed as Bar Manager at Kempinski Mall of Emirates – also in Dubai.
Jakob last post was at the Address Boulevard Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he worked as Director of Food and Beverage for over two years. Prior to that, Jakob worked for two years as the Director of Food and Beverage at At.mosphere Burj Khalifa, the world’s highest restaurant and lounge.
Jakob is a German national, obtained his Diploma degree in Operational Management in the Hospitality Industry from WIHOGA in Dortmund, Germany. Jakob’s native language is Aramaic but also speaks fluent English and German.
Jakob is an energetic person with a creative mind who strives for nothing less than extraordinary. With more than 10 years of experience in food and beverage roles, Jakob is determined to deliver gastronomic experiences and services beyond guests’ expectations whilst driving creative and fun initiatives in his new role at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.
