Seasonal European asparagus is the star of the show at The Okura Prestige Bangkok’s Michelin-starred Elements restaurant as Executive Chef creates a medley of unique dishes blending the flavours of French cuisine with Japanese influences.
Our chef uses perfect fleshy green and white spears of asparagus as the centrepiece of dishes or to complement the key ingredients of other signature offerings. These include White Asparagus and Smoked Tofu egg yolk, smoked daikon, salmon roe, and soba wafer. Asparagus pairs very well with seafood and the healthy vegetable features as a delicate companion in a dish of Sole Paupiette with Poached Crayfish served with a white asparagus fondue, potato, violet asparagus, myoga, and crayfish butter or Ocietra Caviar and Wild Asparagus served with scallop tartare, hajikami, asparagus ice cream and nori wafer.
