A Guilt-Free Afternoon Tea at Rim Klong Cafe of Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok. Why guilt-free? The mission of the resort, as its name suggests, is to bring spiritual and mental wellness to guests.
Undoubtedly, Executive Chef Rajiv Ranjan Singh has crafted a guilt-free afternoon tea set in line with the resort’s idea of healthy eating. Executive Chef Rajiv uses locally-sourced organic fruits and produces to make beautiful healthy juices for diners to enjoy at the cafe. We enjoyed the refreshing effect from Enzyme Cooler made of pineapple, ginger, mint and lemon. We will also recommend the rejuvenating Citrus Paradise, which contains grapefruit, orange, lemon and passion fruit.
Guilt-free afternoon tea set
After the crafted juices, your guilt-free indulgence in the snacks and sweet of the afternoon tea begins. Executive Chef Rajiv selects mostly low GI food for the afternoon tea set. We would never want you to miss the cucumber and crab with soft rye bread and wild smoked salmon with wasabi. Meanwhile, the chicken and pomelo slaw tart is another healthy options. If you like sandwiches, try the fig, brie and tartines sandwich!
Personally, I leave my health to God, so I would recommend something a bit guiltier. Try the scones and pair them with a cup of your favourite tea. My choice of tea depends more on my mood, but an aromatic floral light tea is my preference to pair with the scones.
Apart from the afternoon tea set, you should also buy yourself a Black Forest! The soft mousse of cherries and mixed berries is inside the sphere of a thin layer of dark chocolate! You may wish to pair it with a cup of hot caramel coffee.
It was a lovely afternoon! The ambience of Rim Klong Cafe is tranquil and cosy, it’s an ideal place for chillaxing.
