Fall in love with Scarlett, Pullman G Bangkok Hotel

Located on the 37th floor of Pullman G Hotel in Silom, Scarlett is a chic wine bistro with stunning 360° views of Bangkok’s downtown of Silom and Sathorn areas. It is the reason why I love to pick the outdoor couch seating at the terrace every time I chill out there with my favourite Prosecco.

Despite the breath-taking view, chilling out at Scarlett guarantees you a delicious night as well. Starting my chillaxing time with a cold cuts platter. Its giant size is best for friends’ gathering. If you intend to enjoy dinner at Scarlett, make sure you will not order too many tapas during happy hours, though you may find yourself out of control when seeing the varieties of cheese, cold cuts and tapas Scarlett offer for the enjoyment of their diners.

To satisfy my epicurean appetite, I boldly ordered and cared less whether I could finish all dishes or not.

Burgundy Snails
Some of you may think it is disgusting, but once you get past the idea of ‘eating snails’, you will realize that it is a tasty appetizer. Besides, Burgundy snails are regarded as the best kind of escargo, why not try some? These Burgundy snails were cooked in traditional garlic-and-parsley-butter recipe. The aroma of it watered my mouth. Hmmm…after eating, I found that the Burgundy snails were cooked exceptionally well. They were plump, sweet and with more refined flesh.

Le crabe Royal d’Alaska’
It was a nice salad, I especially like the mayonnaise sauce which was not too thick and was just right to supplement the fresh flavour of Alaska crab meat. A very nice starter.

La Côte de Boeuf
Unless you really have a super flexible stomach (like mine), you may not be able to finish this 1-kg prime rib with bone after having half a bottle of bubbles, salad and appetizer.
What should I say about this meat-lover killer? I love it a lot. It came medium-rare, perfectly grilled to keep its juice and tenderness. Every bite suggested tastiness and more cravings for it.

Despite the fact that Scarlett is very popular among tourists and foreigners, it also attracts quite a lot of locals due to their very good deal on tapas (THB 90 – 120). Scarlett invites guest DJs spinning House music on Friday and Saturday nights from 10:30 pm to 1:00 am. If you would like to eat, drink, laugh and show some of your moves, Scarlett is your choice.

If you would like to spend a chillaxing night at Scarlett, we highly recommend you to make your reservation. Sometimes, it may be booked for private function, so it is always best to ring them before going.
