Le Petit Chef Dinner

Le Petit Chef Dinner has stormed Bangkok with great enthusiasm since its first launch by Park Hyatt Bangkok. With non-stop Facebook marketing, I found it quite difficult to not give it a try because it looked very interesting. After all, it’s all about fun.

However, it was not easy to book a table. Not only was an advance payment requested, but I also waited two months to get a table at the preferred time for this fun dining experience.

Le Petit Chef Dinner at Park Hyatt Bangkok

We had the Le Petit Chef Dinner in the private room at The Embassy Room. The Le Petit Chef Dinner is a combination of visual excitement and Marco Polo’s journey in Asia. The food enjoyment, for me, was not from the flavour of food.

Diners seated at a long table with other guests. Correct, we did not have our own table. An overhead projector projected the animation of Le Petit Chef’s journey on to the long table and the area right in front of us. Visually, we seemed to be travelling with Le Petit Chef in his quest for Asian flavours following Marco Polo’s footprints.

The food

Obviously, the food was not for impressing our palate. However, the menu went along well with the story of Le Petit Chef.
