This high-profile preview of Chef Stefan Heilemann proved his celebrated status as one of the best world-class chefs.
This exciting event started with an opening statement by Ms. Nopparat Aumpa, General Manager of Banyan Tree Bangkok, followed by an enjoyable live singing performance of a traditional Swiss song to introduce Chef Stefan Heilemann who has obtained his two Michelin Stars right after his promotion to the position of Executive Chef at ECCO in Zurich.
The highlights of the event include a cooking demonstration by Chef Stefan Heilemann and his team as well as an all-night-long tasting of the finest cuisines brought by Chef Stefan and the Chefs of Vertigo TOO and wines by G Four Thailand. Guests were entertained by a professional singer to keep a joyful ambience at Vertigo TOO.
Chef Stefan will serve guests his world-class, Michelin-star fare at Banyan Tree Bangkok’s Vertigo TOO for 4 days only—from 29 July to 1 August 2017. At this exclusive event, we were able to try one of the signature dishes of Chef Stefan Heilemann, which was demonstrated at the live cooking demonstration in the event. Although it was just a tasting portion, an explosive taste of a rounded natural flavour of ingredients was experienced.

Neng was born in Bangkok and is an enthusiastic photographer. Ever since joining the Gourmet Bangkok Team, he has developed an intense interest in food and food photography. He is good at searching the best angle for a dish. He likes spicy food and is able to tell the exotic spices used in Asian cuisine. He also acts as the Thai-Cantonese interpreter for Chelsea when reviewing restaurants in Bangkok. As he is a pro golfer, he reviews all golf courses for Gourmet International Team.
