Tapas Bar by Uno Mas at Central Foodhall at Central Chidlom, in collaboration with Gin Mare, organized an Uno Mas x Gine Mare Tapas Pairing Event on 29 March 2018. This event showcased the culinary creativity from Executive Chef Joan Tanya Dot and the cocktail creations from the Cocktail Extraordinaire Mr. Enzo. I enjoyed a six-course tasting menu of finest Spanish cuisine that was perfectly paired with unique cocktail creations.

I have joined quite a lot of special dinner events organized by Uno Mas, each of the events is still vividly remembered. The Spanish cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Joan has shown a great leap of improvement in term of his culinary skills. The very first course of the menu served for this special event totally put me in awe. The sphere olive was the shiniest star on the menu. Burst inside my mouth with the intense flavour of olive, this sphere olive was marble-sized. The mouthfeel was smooth but its taste was explosive! I love it a lot!

‘La Royale’ from David Herve, sour apple soup, cucumber and celery frost Paired with Dry Maretini

Deepwater red prawn, avocado cannelloni with aji rocoto Paired with Red Sea
The cocktail on the lighter side of life, constructed with vanilla, thyme and red capsicum
