Amanvari, meaning ‘peace’ and ‘water’ in Sanskrit, is now accepting reservations ahead of its 1 August opening on the shores of Baja’s East Cape, Mexico. Set within the exclusive Costa Palmas community where desert landscapes meet the Sea of Cortez, this new Aman sanctuary brings the brand’s hallmark privacy, peace, and intuitive service to this remarkable coastline for the very first time.
Defined by a rare convergence of ecosystems—ocean, desert, and estuary—the resort frames expansive views toward the Sierra de la Laguna mountains. Designed as an architectural response to this dramatic environment, Amanvari seamlessly integrates into a landscape populated by towering Cardón cacti, Red Copal trees, and native wildlife like iridescent Xantus hummingbirds.

“Amanvari marks a continued evolution of our vision to create destinations that are intrinsically connected to their environment. On the East Cape, where desert landscapes unfold into the Sea of Cortez, there is a rare sense of scale, stillness and natural rhythm… As we open reservations, we also mark an important moment in our continued expansion in the Americas, and we look forward to sharing the spirit of this remarkable coastline through the eyes of Aman.”
— Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group
