Alila Seminyak, one of the prime resorts in Seminyak area, has announced the opening of its new sister dining and bar venues, The Pontiac Stardust and Flat Stanley.

Alila Seminyak itself has a prime location in the hype side of Bali, just steps away from Jalan Petitenget, Seminyak’s most happening street, an absolute alternative for travellers seeking to soak up the local buzz and enjoy a night about town. While The Pontiac Stardust and Flat Stanley are just located at the junction of Alila Seminyak’s entrance, they share the same area with the resort but are operating independently.

Now Alila Seminyak guests and public visitors have the perks to enjoy the pizza delights at Flat Stanley with a vibe of vintage California and the Pacific West Coast restaurant. With flatbread pizzas as the mainstay, the restaurant specializes in hand-pulled sourdough pizzas topped with local Balinese produce for the freshest flavours. After enjoying a delicious meal at Flat Stanley, guests can continue to dive into the groove while sipping The Hobnail #2, house blend of Irish & Scotch whiskey mixed with ginger/turmeric syrup, the signature cocktail of The Pontiac Stardust.

The 120-seater Flat Stanley interior is at once laid back and vibrant, the retro-modern California vibe has arrived. The venue transports guests down the dusty highway to from Los Angeles to 1950’s Palm Springs. With a retro-chic mid-century modern style, the venue fully embraces the west coast soul of the concept. The design celebrates this with the classic mid-century style and meticulously selected retro curios and artefacts. Medium grain woods mix with warm sunset tones and clean lines to deliver the complete aesthetic.

Helmed by Chef Matt White, a self-proclaimed “Dough Head”, who started Alt. Pizza and Extra Virgin Pizza in Singapore. At Flat Stanley, diners can expect a selection of sharing boards, small plates, vegetables, salads, sourdough flatbread pizzas and a range of meats and seafood from the grill. A hip yet approachable all day and night venue that has something for everyone.

The Pontiac Stardust is a cosmic road trip thru 1950’s/60’s Palm Springs. A progressive cocktail bar inspired by the art and energy of mid-century modern Palm Springs, this is a culture not a concept helmed by award-winning bartender, Beckaly Franks. Reinvention with continued ethos and drive. Beckaly is the first female mixologist to win the prestigious 42 Below Cocktail World Cup.

The bar’s interior takes a blend of the classic mid-century style and overlays a bit of the cosmic vibe. Fabrics get more fun with more colourful patterns and the eclectic character of the early days of the California hippy movement mix with space helmets and astronauts. Featuring the photo booth, for some retro cool fun, or hang out with the house DJ in the Listening Room. If that’s not enough, come chill on the patio and get your tarot cards to read in our tie-dyed Tipi.
